Emer Timmons OBE

Emer is a high performing senior executive who has an outstanding track record of commercial business leadership in both improving people and business performance. Over 25 years of international experience from start-up’s, transformation turnarounds, growth strategies, M&A to President of a Global FTSE 25 Corporation. During her career, she has held global marketing, sales, operational and leadership roles, including the successful responsibility of a £4.8billion P&L. Emer’s international career includes twenty years in the GCC region, with a focus the last five years in KSA, where she is passionate about its transformation journey. She graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Economics.
 
Emer holds a number of senior strategic positions; Global Senior Advisor to Korn Ferry’s CEO & Board Practice; Non Executive Director for World Quantum Growth Acquisition Corp, a Fintech SPAC; Vice Chair of the “School of Business Advisory Council” for Maynooth University, National University of Ireland and Ambassador to the Royal Marine Commandoes Advisory Council. Emer has experience of FTSE 50 non executive board roles, where she sat on Audit, Remco and Nomination committees.
 
Emer founded ET Solutions GmbH in January 2019, to provide Strategic Engagement Professional Services and Programmes. ET Solutions custom-builds and delivers sustainable solutions that surpass the expectations of its Global Enterprise, Government and PE/Venture Capital clients and their customers.
 
She was appointed to Co-Chair the “Leaders as Change Agents” Board in September 2019, a UK Government-backed initiative, which represents the Chairs and CEO’s of the FTSE 350 and 150 largest privately owned businesses, which provides advice to the UK government, to help foster talent across the whole population and workforce, promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. 
 
Emer is a passionate STEM champion, encouraging girls to follow careers in these disciplines. She proudly received the honour of OBE in Her Majesty the Queen birthday honours list in October 2020 for services to “Women, Business and Equality” and in 2017 was honoured as one of the top 21 Leaders of the 21st Century, which pays tribute to those women and men who have made an outstanding impact on gender equality around the globe. We are delighted that Emer has joined Johara Global in her role as Vice Chair to help champion female leadership across the world.
